So it's been a long time since I've written and a lot has happened since. My living situation has definitely been a crazy ride. I have 2 jobs: the Old Dairy in the morning and Vitale's Italian restaurant at night. I started dating a freshman from Western. His name is Jordan and he goes to school for music performance and is AMAZING at piano!
Anyway...with the second job I'm able to live comfortably and not worry about too much so it's a life saver really AND I get to work with my older brother! :)
Announcement time: I even got rid of my stupid blue phone and was able to get an iPhone! Ya as of right now, life is alright. :)

well it's rather crazy
Ok, so I missed too many hours at school so I got dropped. That's all I'm saying about that. Anyway, I immediately found a full time job at The Black Squid Tattoo parlor. It was awesome and i had the best boss ever. His name was Eric Arrowsmith.
You're probably asking yourself, "why is she referring to her new job in past tense?". Great point, well it WAS my job. While i was in Galesburg this past weekend I found out Sunday that Eric passed away. I was so confused as to what was going on..mainly since I found out via Facebook. Once I realised what was going on it immediately hit me that I no longer have a job.
So now I'm looking for a job that will give me at least $600 a month so i can pay my $285 rent and groceries. I have one month before I move into my new house with my lovely friend, Emily and my other friend, Calvin. HELP MEEE!

anttt and lerbear
These past few days have been tough for me and many of my friends from Galesburg and the surrounding area because two of our friends, Anthony Perez and Leramy Bennett were in a horrible car accident.
Leramy had a concussion and doctors thought that he had a torn esophagus. Luckily, it was a false alarm. When I went to visit them in the hospital, Leramy was doing a lot better and he discharged himself from OSF and we took him with us. Anthony, however wasn't so lucky. His side of the car was hit the worse and ironically, it was a good thing they weren't wearing their seat belts.
If Anthony had then he wouldn't have been thrown to the other side of the car, he would've been stuck by the tree. When i visited Anthony he told me what he remembered, he managed to stay conscious the whole time. He told me that after they hit the tree he remembered his neck hurting extremely bad and that he couldn't move his body at all. Also, that it was hard for him to breathe. It turns out that he broke two vertebrae in his neck and that then pinched a nerve which caused him to be immobile. Fortunately, the doctors at OSF hospital are amazing and Anthony is not paralyzed and they say it'll take a couple months for him to heal.
Even though they were both pretty beat up, they are so lucky to be alive and it makes me way more than happy. I love them both so much in so many ways and I'm very thankful to God for saving them. :)

right here, right now
to start off: thank you very much for visiting my blog :) i appreciate it!
it is sunday, feb 6th, 2011 (super bowl sunday to be exact) and i am writing my first official blog. pretty exciting right? now, i'm still figuring everything out so my page and what not may not be TOO exciting just yet so just bear with me!
i am a lazy writer...i don't care enough to capitalize when necessary. sorry if it bugs anyone :P
i'm kind of tired and i really don't want to go to school tomorrow. mon-fri, 8 am-5pm. i get on the train early. i don't get back home til late because i have to wait forever the train to get there. blah. then on saturday and sunday i work a a nursing home in the kitchen for 4 hours. that's the story of my life right there :P busy busy busy.
STORY TIME! last saturday (jan 29th) i got a speeding ticket. here's the quick and easy story. my friend, callie, and i went to visit our friend caleb who is in st. frances hospital where he found out he has leukemia and we got sort of lost to and coming back from peoria. we got wayyy lost on the way back and were already running a half an hour late. (i had to work at four that day.) so i was speeding hardcore...80 in a 55...i know, superrrrrrr risky/stupid of me. i didn't want to be late! it was worth it because we got to see our lovely friend and he is doing well right now :) my ticket is $120 plus i want to go to court or traffic class so i can get it off my record...that'll be another $100 i'm sure. yuck fmllll.
my personal life is exciting, however. i met an incredible guy a little over a month ago and he is the sweetest boy ever. i'm not saying names yet because i don't want to make it public until we start dating or something haha so stay tuned!
